LEED compliance for carpets does not require CRI certification

Many project teams or LEED reviewers read LEED specifications such that fulfilling LEED EQ credit 4.3 for carpets requires CRI Green Label Plus certification.

Now there is a clear statement of US GBC saying that it is a misunderstanding if project teams or LEED reviewers require CRI Green Label Plus certification for fulfilling LEED EQ credit 4.3 for carpets.  It was confirmed that all carpet installed in the building interior must meet the testing and product requirements of the program, however, this does not preclude products that meet these requirements but are tested by a means other than GLP.
